If you're an avid TV-watcher, keep your eyes peeled for CTD's latest outreach effort: our first Public Service Announcement. The PSA features five of CTD's members and their families, plus our friend and supporter, Kinky Friedman!
In keeping with our new look, logo, and website, we wanted to reach out to potential members in a new way. So, we hired up-and-coming local filmmaker David Bukstein to direct the project. Bukstein worked closely with staff to generate the concept of the video and coordinate, shoot, and edit it. Between December 2011 and January 2012, we shot six different spots on location all over Austin to capture how some of our members exemplify our mission.
View (and share!) the video to see just a few of the many ways that real Texans with disabilities live, learn, work, play, and participate in the communities of their choice. Stay tuned to local channels to catch the PSA, or view it now below!
