In 2026, Cinema Touching Disability will place Saturday, September 5th at the Austin Central Library in Austin. This year's offerings included screenings of winners and official selections of this year’s international short film competition and more!

Cinema Touching Disability is open to the public. Tickets this year are priced on a sliding scale starting at $5. Parking will be included with your ticket. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the Festival. If cost is a barrier, you can request comped tickets by emailing filmfest@txdisabilities.org. If tickets sell out, we will have a wait list online and at the door.
Things to note!
About access: we'll at the Austin Central Library, which will have open seating, with unattached chairs on a level floor, and some tables for those who need a surface. All films will be screened with open captions, and ASL interpretation will be provided for all spoken portions of the Festival. Live audio description devices will be available. Snacks and bar will be provided in the event center lobby, outside of the screening room.
About parking: Garage parking includes accessible spaces, and we are validating parking for all guests.
